Scooby Snack Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz coconut rum
  • 1 oz melon liqueur
  • 1 oz banana liqueur
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz whipped cream
  • Ice cubes
  • Maraschino cherry for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Add coconut rum, melon liqueur, banana liqueur, and pineapple juice to the shaker.
  3. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill the ingredients and mix them thoroughly.
  4. Strain the cocktail into a chilled glass filled with ice cubes.
  5. Carefully float whipped cream on top of the cocktail to create a creamy layer.
  6. Garnish with a maraschino cherry on top.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Scooby Snack cocktail!

Tips:

  • For a stronger coconut flavor, you can use coconut cream instead of coconut rum.
  • Adjust the sweetness of the cocktail by adding more or less banana liqueur to taste.
  • Experiment with different garnishes like a pineapple wedge or a slice of banana for extra flair.
  • To make a frozen version of the Scooby Snack, blend all the ingredients with crushed ice until smooth and creamy.

Ron Ponche

  • 10 cans evaporated milk
  • 24 egg yolks
  • 3 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 – 3 cups Captain Morgan® spiced rum

Preparation:

Put first five ingredients in large pot (or double boiler perferred). Mix with mixer thoroughly in pot before heat. Cook on medium to low heat, stirring constantly.( this is the hard part, this cooking process takes about 45 to 1 hour.) This is a Panamian version of egg nog. Cook until it becomes thick. Be patient. It will thicken like gravy.

Remove from heat. Add the 1 cup of water and the rum, (this depends on how stout you like your “egg nog”. Scoop the liquid into decorated mason jar. Very important… Make sure you strain the liquid BEFORE you put into the jars.

Refriderate and this makes a wonderful Ron Ponche for friends and family. Sip this Ron Ponche like you would any baileys or liqueur.

Caribou Lou

  • 1 1/2 parts 151 proof rum
  • 1 part Malibu® coconut rum
  • 5 parts pineapple juice

Preparation:
Shake or serve up with ice in a highball glass.

Dirty Banana

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz white rum
  • 1 oz Kahlua or coffee liqueur
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1 oz crème de banane
  • 2 oz milk or cream
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup ice
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Banana slices for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine the white rum, Kahlua, dark rum, crème de banane, milk or cream, ripe banana, and ice.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Drizzle chocolate syrup inside the serving glass.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into the glass.
  5. Top with whipped cream if desired.
  6. Garnish with a banana slice.
  7. Serve with a straw and enjoy the luscious Dirty Banana cocktail!
