Ron Ponche

  • 10 cans evaporated milk
  • 24 egg yolks
  • 3 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 – 3 cups Captain Morgan® spiced rum

Preparation:

Put first five ingredients in large pot (or double boiler perferred). Mix with mixer thoroughly in pot before heat. Cook on medium to low heat, stirring constantly.( this is the hard part, this cooking process takes about 45 to 1 hour.) This is a Panamian version of egg nog. Cook until it becomes thick. Be patient. It will thicken like gravy.

Remove from heat. Add the 1 cup of water and the rum, (this depends on how stout you like your “egg nog”. Scoop the liquid into decorated mason jar. Very important… Make sure you strain the liquid BEFORE you put into the jars.

Refriderate and this makes a wonderful Ron Ponche for friends and family. Sip this Ron Ponche like you would any baileys or liqueur.

Caribou Lou

  • 1 1/2 parts 151 proof rum
  • 1 part Malibu® coconut rum
  • 5 parts pineapple juice

Preparation:
Shake or serve up with ice in a highball glass.

Wild Irish Rose

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • 3-4 dashes of Angostura bitters
  • Lemon twist or brandied cherry for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Pour in the Irish whiskey, sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters.
  3. Stir well for about 30 seconds to chill the mixture.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Garnish with a lemon twist or brandied cherry.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Pousse Caf

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Grenadine
  • 1 oz Coffee liqueur (e.g. Kahlúa)
  • 1 oz Green Chartreuse
  • 1 oz Yellow Chartreuse
  • 1 oz Blue Curaçao
  • 1 oz Brandy
  • 1 oz Cognac

Instructions:

  1. Pour the grenadine into a Pousse Café glass.
  2. Using the back of a spoon, pour the coffee liqueur slowly over the grenadine to create the next layer.
  3. Continue to layer the Green Chartreuse, then the Yellow Chartreuse, and finally the Blue Curacao, making sure to pour each liqueur slowly over the back of the spoon to create distinct layers.
  4. Warm the brandy and cognac for a few seconds and carefully ignite it with a lighter. Pour the flaming mixture over the back of the spoon to top off the cocktail.

Nescafe Frappe

Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee (such as Nescafe)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 oz (60 ml) water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Chocolate syrup (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a shaker or a blender, combine the instant coffee, sugar, and water.
  2. Shake or blend vigorously until the mixture becomes frothy and the coffee granules are fully dissolved.
  3. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the frothy coffee mixture over the ice.
  5. Add the milk to the glass, stirring to combine.
  6. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup if desired.
  7. Serve with a straw and enjoy!

Calypso Coffee

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz dark rum
  • 1/2 oz Tia Maria or coffee liqueur
  • 4 oz hot coffee
  • 1 oz whipped cream
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (optional)
  • Ground cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Brew a fresh cup of hot coffee.
  2. In a heatproof glass or mug, add the dark rum and Tia Maria.
  3. Pour the hot coffee into the glass and stir to combine.
  4. If you prefer your coffee sweeter, you can add the simple syrup and mix well.
  5. Carefully float the whipped cream on top of the coffee by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
  6. Sprinkle ground cinnamon or nutmeg on top of the whipped cream for garnish.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Calypso Coffee!

Bourbon Slush

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups bourbon
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 cups strong brewed black tea
  • 3 cups water
  • Lemon-lime soda (optional)
  • Orange slices and maraschino cherries for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. In a large container, mix together the bourbon, orange juice, lemon juice, sugar, black tea, and water until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Place the container in the freezer and allow the mixture to freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, stirring occasionally with a fork to create a slushy texture.
  3. To serve, scoop the bourbon slush into a glass and top with a splash of lemon-lime soda if desired.
  4. Garnish with orange slices and maraschino cherries.
  5. Serve with a straw and enjoy the refreshing Bourbon Slush!

Ace of Spades

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. vodka
  • 1/2 oz. Blue Curacao
  • 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz. simple syrup
  • Champagne or sparkling wine
  • Lemon twist, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, Blue Curacao, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until the mixture is thoroughly chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled champagne flute.
  4. Top off the drink with champagne or sparkling wine.
  5. Garnish with a lemon twist.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Dirty Banana

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz white rum
  • 1 oz Kahlua or coffee liqueur
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1 oz crème de banane
  • 2 oz milk or cream
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup ice
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Banana slices for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine the white rum, Kahlua, dark rum, crème de banane, milk or cream, ripe banana, and ice.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Drizzle chocolate syrup inside the serving glass.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into the glass.
  5. Top with whipped cream if desired.
  6. Garnish with a banana slice.
  7. Serve with a straw and enjoy the luscious Dirty Banana cocktail!

Gin Rickey

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • Soda water
  • Lime wedge for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice.
  2. Pour the gin and fresh lime juice over the ice.
  3. Top off the glass with soda water.
  4. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Twenty One Aces

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz gin
  • 3/4 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz triple sec
  • 1/2 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz club soda
  • Lime wheel for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a shaker, combine the gin, lime juice, simple syrup, triple sec, and orange juice.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well to combine.
  3. Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice.
  4. Top off the glass with club soda.
  5. Garnish with a lime wheel.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Woo Woo

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz peach schnapps
  • 3 oz cranberry juice
  • Ice
  • Peach slice or cherry for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Fill a shaker with ice.
  2. Pour in the vodka, peach schnapps, and cranberry juice.
  3. Shake well to combine the ingredients.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass filled with ice.
